Hello, lovelies! 🌸 Happy Wednesday, two more days and we will be welcoming the weekend which I always look forward to ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ But, let’s talk about book and what I’ve been reading lately (͡ ͡° ͜ つ ͡͡°)
What are you currently reading?
- Heist of the Heart by Leighton Greene: This is a short story with mafia and romance which I’m always up to. I truly enjoy mafia books, anything with bad boys and a good, angsty backstory [but not too angsty] (ง’̀-‘́)ง
Mood: give me a mafia man
- Montana Sky by Nora Roberts: Oh my god, this audiobook is everything. I love stories with siblings and this is something Nora does the best. I always love reading her books with siblings and in this one we have 3 sisters who have never seen each other before, now living together after their father’s death, together they must face a mysterious murdered who is making their life miserable.
Mood: give me a mystery to solve
- Criminal Intentions Season 1 Episode 2: Junk Shop Blues by Cole McCade: Holy mother of God, the format of this series is amazing. Every book is about the same main characters facing different challenges and is like a crime TV Show. In every episode we have a new killer who throughout the book does heinous and gory things. The investigation backdrop while we get to see how the main characters grow is amazing.
Mood: murder 101
- Wolfsong by T.J. Klune: Oh how sweet, this book stars very sad – we see a child left behind by his father, ignored by his friends and working as a mechanic under the table in order to help his mother. I love how this book starts so normal and then we are introduced to some mysterious characters who change the tone completely.
Mood: give me sweet romance
What did you recently finish?
Yesterday I finished Love-Blocked by Charity Parkerson which I really liked. The whole series is very short and the romance sometimes felt a bit rushed but the angst was so good. Sometimes I love a good angsty book with a HEA.
And lastly, what do you think you’ll read next?
This is not 100% certain but I’m thinking about Guardian of the Auras by Victoria Moschou. The book was free in Kindle so I picked it up but I’m not 100% sure yet since its been awhile since I’ve read a YA fantasy. But, the plot sounds very interesting so maybe!? I believe the author is Greek and the story has a Pandora-box theme but don’t take my word for it – is something I read in some reviews ♪~ ᕕ(ᐛ)ᕗ
